Questions new members ask us.
I’m a new member. Do I log in or register?
Select Register New User first. Your TRUE Member Portal login is created during registration, so the Login button won’t work until that step is done. Logins from your agent or another insurance company, including your auto insurer, won’t work here. The TRUE portal has its own login.
I’m getting an error when I register. What should I check?
Make sure your information matches your policy exactly. The third character of your policy number is always the letter O, not a zero (for example, TXO, not TX0). Use the ZIP code of your insured property, not a mailing ZIP code. Still stuck? Call Member Services at (833) 854-1203.
What should I know about my home inspection?
All new policies require an external inspection, usually within the first 30 days after your policy goes into effect. It helps make sure your home meets the underwriting guidelines and eligibility criteria in your policy. Our inspection partners, Bees360 and Millennium Inspections, will contact you directly. No scheduling is needed unless your home is in a gated community.
Does TRUE provide a replacement cost estimate?
No. The property owner and mortgage lender are in the best position to evaluate the property’s value. We recommend a licensed appraiser to help keep your coverage limits adequate.
How do I send documents, like proof of discounts?
Proof of discounts can include a wind mitigation inspection or the declarations page for your auto policy. Upload them in the Member Portal or email them to memberservice@trueins.com. Remember to attach your documents to your email.
What do I need for a wind mitigation discount?
If you told us about a wind mitigation inspection when you got your quote, send a copy within 30 days of buying your policy, or any added discounts may be removed. The inspection must be no more than 5 years old, in your name as the primary insured, completed on the Uniform Mitigation Verification Inspection Form, and include the inspector’s color photos.
