How to Quote or Bind a Policy Change
To make changes to a policy, follow these steps:
- Initiate an Endorsement:
- From the Policy Summary page, select ‘Endorsement’ from the right-hand dropdown menu, then click ‘Go.’
- Select Endorsement Details:
- A pop-up box will appear where you can choose the endorsement type, effective date, and add notes.
- Edit the Policy:
- The policy will open with editable fields, similar to creating a new quote.
- Complete and Submit Changes:
- Once changes are made:
- For non-premium-bearing changes, select ‘Purchase.’
- For premium-bearing changes, select ‘Refer to Underwriting.’
- Cancel an Unbound Endorsement:
- If you do not wish to bind the endorsement, select ‘Delete’ at the bottom of the Purchase Policy page.

How long does it take for the application link to expire?
The link will expire in 30 days from the day it was sent.
What is the passcode to access the application in DocuSign?
Use the insured property’s zip code. This code is included in the confirmation email the client receives.
I’m working on a quote, but the premium isn’t populating. Why?
This typically happens if a Location ID does not populate. Re-enter the property address and click ‘Recalculate.’
I received an ineligible message when quoting a policy before completing all the information. What should I do?
Check the TRUE Underwriting Guidelines to confirm if there are county restrictions for the property you are quoting.
I’m trying to print a quote summary, but it won’t appear. What can I do?

Are both applicants required to sign the application?
Only the First named member is required to sign the application not the co-applicant.
Can we change an effective date?
Yes, agents have the ability to begin the endorsement but it is subject to underwriting approval, the system will advise if you may bind the change or submit to UW.
Can I print applications for clients to sign?
Yes, applications can be printed for client signatures.

I uploaded documents, but they’re not showing up. What happened?
The ‘Upload Documents’ tab only works internally. Please email documents to [email protected].
When will policy documents for a new policy be available?
Policy documents take approximately 90 minutes to populate after binding.
Billing FAQ's
Do we have to set up the wallet if member billed?
The wallet is required to bind all member billed policies. If this is not done it will remain in quote status unless mortgagee billed. Then the wallet is not required |
Methods of payment we accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, or Checking and Savings account’s for single pay and automatic wallet set up.
How do I change the payment plan for a policy?
Payment plan changes must be submitted through the appropriate payment portal or by contacting support for assistance.
Coverage FAQ's
Can we add sinkhole coverage?
In order to approve a request for sinkhole coverage, we require a current inspection report from an approved professional engineer (SDII Global). All of our policies include Catastrophic Ground Cover Collapse. 10k deductible is the only option for this coverage.
Is the screened enclosure covered for hurricane damage?
Screened enclosure covreage is an endorsment that has to be added if coverage against hurricane is desired. TRUE FL 603 – Hurricane Coverage for Attached Aluminum Screen Enclosures, Carports, and Sheds provides coverage for loss caused by hurricane to aluminum framing for screened enclosures and carports permanently attached to the dwelling. This endorsement does not provide coverage for screen material or costs associated with removing or replacing screens. This endorsement does not increase the limit of liability for Coverage A. The Limit of Liability for this coverage may be purchased in $5,000 increments from $10,000 to $75,000.
Are docks covered?
Dock coverage would fall under coverage B. Docks, seawalls and boat lifts are all subject to the standard exclusions on the policy – wear and tear, exposure, rising water, tidal action, etc.
General FAQ's
Is there a member portal?
Unfortuneately, at this time we do not have a member portal to support online servicing. However, we do have a help button option at trueins.com where members can submit questions directly or we can also assist via our contact center open Monday-Friday 8-9 p.m. EST
I’m trying to pull up a policy or quote but can’t find it. What should I do?
Enter the member’s last name or the policy/quote number and leave all other search fields blank. This reduces the filters and makes it easier to locate the policy/quote.
Can we do an agent of record change? (AOR)
For members who want to stay with TRUE but move their business to another partner/agent, they will need to get a new quote and policy and cancel the existing one.
Do we accept LLC's?
Unfortuneately, we do not accept properties titled to LLC’S or Corp’s at TRUE?
